Our Programs
Nanaimo Community Hospice offers skilled, compassionate support, education and advocacy for those experiencing terminal illness, anticipatory grief, and bereavement. These are three of life’s greatest challenges. We believe that everyone struggling with these challenges deserves support.
Our Programs

Trained volunteers support clients who are grieving, anticipating the death of someone, or facing end-of-life.

In this peer support group grieving clients share and support one another.

This is an 8 week program for adults who have experienced the loss of someone by suicide, overdose, or homicide.

This is an 8-week program for adults who have experienced the loss of a loved one and are looking for tools to move forward.

Reiki practitioners offer complimentary sessions designed to help clients relax and manage stress.

This offers fresh air, exercise and companionship during weekly walks with a peer support group.

Our Hospice House library offers books and DVDs relating to grief and dying.

Clients can choose from a variety of sessions that help heal mind, body and spirit.
